The Mailchimp module for Prestashop allows you to send newsletters from the shop backend through Mailchimp.

The Mailchimp module for Prestashop allows you to send newsletters from the shop backend through Mailchimp. You can also create email lists with the customers registered on your shop using multiple filters like country, registration date, city and so on.

The module allows you to add a mailchimp newsletter registration form to your ecommerce website so users can register directly to your newsletter.

You can also configure the module to automatically add every new client that chooses to receive newsletters from your shop to a selected mailing list using a simple cron, or you can do it manually anytime just by pressing a button.

From where can I download this module?

  • You need to add the newsletter form code - 4/5

You need to add the newsletter form code or delete the form from modules->positions and your website won't crash. We will fix this issue in the next versions.

  • Ability to 'add new users' not working - 1/5

    by Taylor

The ability to add new users who have subscribed to the newsletter through Prestashops built in newsletter signup does not appear to work. Neither does manually subscribing users from the Prestashop administration area. No confirmation email is sent, no users are subscribed and a lot of the time the following error is given (despite such fields existing):

MailChimp error code: 250.Message: NAME must be provided - Please enter a value

This module has potential and provides an easy to use and understand interface, however in my opinion it is not currently in an operational state.

  • Easy to set up the form, useless for the rest - 1/5

Good to easily add the form BUT no synchronization between Prestashop and Mailchimp... therefore useless module so far.
