    The combination of the Windsor Circle platform and the abilities of Mailchimp solved several long-term issues we have had in gaining an in-depth understanding of our database and customers, as well as being able to segment those customers into the appropriate buckets.

    We were using Mailchimp before we engaged with Windsor, but we knew we were not using it to the fullest extent. When we dove into the data analysis from Windsor (CLV, Frequency, AOV, and Latency), we were able to establish a retention methodology for our customer-base that has been very successful for us. We are currently running five retention campaigns including 2 Winback/Lapsed buyer series, 1st purchaser series, 2nd purchaser series, and a Top Customer series. The results we have seen have been great through not only revenue, but engagement with the business overall. With the help of our Windsor account manager walking us through the process and guiding us through multiple "best practices", we then chose to set up a Welcome/Non-purchaser Intro series to get people into the buying funnel sooner. This has proven to be a very valuable component of our messaging strategy. We have plans to add a Product Recommendation series based on the historical buying patterns of the customer, as well as our top products in the very near future.

    The process, from start to finish (well, still ongoing) has been very simple and smooth. Having the ability to utilize not only some of the special data tables in our database along with the combination data tables that the Windsor Circle platform provided was very important to us and has greatly paid off for us. The integration was seamless, and it was easy to get up and running on our first set of retention emails in no time.

    The ability to take these steps in communicating with our customers in the appropriate ways and at the appropriate times would not have been possible without the help from the Windsor Circle platform and the coaching from our team at Windsor. The power of the data and the flexibility of the use of that data has become foundational in changing the way we are communicating to our customers, as well as in building out our campaign strategies in all areas of the business.
