WooCommerce MailChimp provides simple and flexible MailChimp integration for WooCommerce.
Automatically subscribe customers to a designated MailChimp list and, optionally, MailChimp interest groups upon order creation or order completion. This can be done silently or based on the user's consent with several opt-in settings that support international opt-in laws.
Features
WooCommerce Event Selection
- Subscribe customers to MailChimp after order creation
- Subscribe customers to MailChimp after order completion
Works with MailChimp Interest Groups
- Set one or more interest groups to add users to based on the selected MailChimp list.
Opt-In Settings
- MailChimp double opt-in support (control whether a double opt-in email is sent to the customer)
- Optionally, display an opt-in checkbox on the checkout page (this is required in some countries)
- Control the label displayed next to the opt-in checkbox
- Control whether or not the opt-in checkbox is checked or unchecked by default
- Control the placement of the opt-in checkbox on the checkout page (under billing info or order info)
Installation
- Upload or extract the 'woocommerce-MailChimp' folder to your site's '/wp-content/plugins/' directory. You can also use the Add new option found in the Plugins menu in WordPress.
- Enable the plugin from the Plugins menu in WordPress.
Usage
- Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Integration > MailChimp
- First, enable the plugin and set your MailChimp API Key and hit save.
- Select whether you want customers to be subscribed to your MailChimp list after order creation or order completion (there's a difference in WooCommerce).
- Next, select your MailChimp list and set any interest group settings (optional) and hit save.
- That's it, now customers who purchase products from your WooCommerce store will automatically be subscribed to the selected list (and optional interest groups) in MailChimp!

Hey,
I'm wanting to send all my Woocommerce transactional emails (plus New account and password comms) through Mailchimp. Seems easier than hand coding my HTML emails to try and work on all browsers... Nightmare!
Other than using Mandrill, can I use MC to take over this functionality?
Thanks
Paul

Like the plug in very much, but waiting on the pro-version so that individual product purchases can be mapped to unique list or group in mailchimp...
Timeline on pro-version release????

Why is there 2 fields for Group? Group Name and Groups? The documentation does not describe anywhere how to fill these fields in.....There are no fields within mailchimp titled "Group Name"

Glenn,
Sorry for the confusion.
The first field (Group Name) is for the Interest Group name and the second field (Groups) is for the child groups.
Using this MailChimp post on Interest Groups as an example (http://blog.mailchimp.com/sending-targeted-emails-with-interest-groups/).
Interest Group: "Favorite Foods" Groups: - I Like All Foods - Pizza - Hamburgers - Meatloaf - Vegan - Vegetarian
If I wanted to add all customers who make a purchase from my WooCommerce store to the "Favorite Foods > I Like All Foods" interest group, I would put "Favorite Foods" in the Group Name field and "I Like All Foods" in the Groups field.
We're currently working on the next version of the plugin, which will make this much clearer and simply allow for group selection from a drop-down.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Regards,
Adam Anderly Saint Systems
